Job Description
About the Role:
Join HiQ Group as a Plant Operator, where you’ll play a key role in safe and efficient site operations. This hands-on role involves operating plant and equipment, supporting daily site activities, and maintaining a strong safety focus.
Main Responsibilities:
Operate plant, machinery, tools, and vehicles as directed
Perform labouring and general site duties as required
Participate in daily toolbox meetings
Complete daily pre-start checks on plant and equipment
Carry out basic maintenance in line with procedures
Monitor and report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions
Ensure unsafe equipment is tagged out and not used
Follow all Safe Work Procedures and site inductions
Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
Communicate equipment issues or process concerns to management
Accurately clock in and out each shift
Support site operations with additional duties as required
